Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing the client portal at iqbaltechnologies.site, requesting an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the portal.

2. Accounts

Portal accounts are created by an Iqbal Technologies administrator. There is no public sign-up. You're responsible for keeping your password and any 2FA recovery codes confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access — email is the fastest channel.

Admin accounts must enroll in two-factor authentication. Client accounts are encouraged to enroll.

3. Acceptable use

  • Don't upload content you don't have the right to share (copyrighted material, third-party secrets).
  • Don't attempt to access data belonging to other accounts or probe for security vulnerabilities without prior written authorisation.
  • Don't use the portal to send unlawful, deceptive, or harassing communications.
  • Don't automate access in ways that bypass our rate limits or degrade service for other users.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that materially violate these terms.

4. Services and deliverables

Each engagement is scoped through an order. The order defines deliverables, timeline, revisions, and price. Where the order and these Terms conflict, the order controls. Acceptance criteria and completion definitions live in the order or its accompanying brief.

We aim to meet committed timelines, but external dependencies (your team's input, third-party APIs, force majeure events) may shift schedules. We communicate slippage promptly.

5. Payment

Orders may require partial payment before work begins. Payment proofs uploaded through the portal are stored privately and accessible only to administrators. Refunds for any partial deliverable are at our discretion and described in the order.

6. Intellectual property

Subject to full payment, all custom code, design, and content we produce specifically for your project is transferred to you. We retain rights to general-purpose tooling, internal libraries, and methods developed independently of the engagement.

You retain ownership of content you upload (briefs, brand assets, reference materials). You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to deliver your order.

7. Confidentiality

We treat unpublished business details you share through the portal as confidential and use them only to deliver your services. We may aggregate anonymised performance data (e.g. "average delivery time across SaaS projects") for our own operational analysis.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and delete personal data. By using the portal, you consent to the practices it describes.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the portal or services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We can terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these Terms, with reasonable notice unless the breach is severe enough that immediate suspension is warranted.

Termination doesn't affect rights or obligations accrued before the termination date — most importantly, obligations to pay for delivered work and to keep records under tax law.

11. Changes

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email to active users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Disputes that can't be resolved through good-faith discussion fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lahore.
